Faraday's LVDS, mini-LVDS and RSDS™ are High Speed I/O Interfaces family platform with market proven performance.

The LVDS family platform is a CMOS differential line transmitter/receiver designed for applications that require ultra low power dissipation and high data rate. It supports process technology from 0.18µm to 0.35µm and data rate up to 595 Mbps utilizing Low Voltage Differential Signaling technology.

A Reduced Swing Differential Signaling (RSDS™) is a signaling standard that defines the chip-to-chip interface output characteristics, which act as a protocol between the flat panel timing controllers and the column drivers.

A mini-LVDS is a signaling standard that defines the chip-to-chip interface output characteristics, which act as protocol between the flat panel timing controllers and the column drivers.

  • LVDS transmitter / receiver:
    clock rate single link supports up to 85Mhz, dual link up to 170MHz
  • RSDS transmitter:
    clock rate supports up to 100MHz
  • Mini-LVDS transmitter: clock rate supports up to 85MHz
