Stan Hung

Chairman

Mr. Hung graduated from Tam Kang University in Taiwan with a degree in accounting. He joined UMC in 1991 and has served as UMC's Chief Financial Officer, and previous to becoming chairman he was senior vice president of the company. Mr. Hung was recognized as the semiconductor sector's best CFO in their Asia Equities Market Report by Institutional Investor Magazine in 2004, and awarded an Honorary Doctorate from National Tsing Hua University in 2021. Chairman Hung is also the chairman of UMC.

Steve Wang

President

Mr. Steve Wang is currently President of Faraday Technology. He has accumulated over thirty years of experience in the technology and semiconductor industry, specializing in a variety of fields including IC design and service, IP, foundry and electronics supply chain. Mr. Wang has well-rounded experiences in marketing, operation and strategic planning.

Prior to being appointed to President of Faraday Technology, Mr. Wang served as Vice President of Marketing, Asia Sales and IPDS at UMC, leading the team with continuous annual growth and gaining the remarkable US$2 billion sales exploit. Prior to the role, Mr. Wang served as Chief Strategy Officer at Faraday Technology, Deputy Director of Marketing at TSMC and Manager in CCL, ITRI.

Mr. Wang received his B.S. degree in Industrial Management from National Cheng-Kung University and his M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from National Tsing-Hua University.

Flash Lin

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Flash Lin has been dedicated in the semiconductor industry for nearly two decades. He possesses expertise in design flow of integrated circuit with solid experiences in IC design service and embedded memory design. Prior to joining Faraday, Mr. Lin served as Senior Director of IP development at UMC, Director of Design Division at Zentel, and Manager of product & design division at TI-Acer.

Mr. Lin received his Bachelor and M.S. degree in Electrophysics from National Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan.

C.H. Chien

Vice President, R&D

Mr. C.H. Chien has been dedicated to in IC design for 30 years; his industry experience is in the field of IP development and IC design flow. Mr. Chien accumulated 10-year of experience in management of oversea R&D teams. Prior to joining Faraday, Mr. Chien worked as Deputy Director at Topro Technology, Deputy Director at STC of ITRI, Director at MediaTek, and Director at GlobalFoundries.

Mr. Chien received his Bachelor and M.S. degrees both in Electrical Engineering from National Central University and National Taiwan University in Taiwan respectively.

Grace Tseng

Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Grace Tseng joined Faraday in 1999 and served as Director of Finance Department from 2000 to 2015. Ms. Tseng has been accredited as CFO and Spokesperson at Faraday since 2015 and now is in charge of multinational financial & accounting managements and corporate tax planning. Prior to joining Faraday, Ms. Tseng worked in UMC, responsible for accounting and finance.

Ms. Tseng graduated from National Cheng-Chi University with a degree of Business Administration, and received her master degree from College of Management, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University.

K.H. Lee

Vice President, Sales

Mr. K.H. Lee has focused on marketing and sales in semiconductor industry for more than score years. Joining in Faraday in 2019, he now is charge of Faraday’s global IP licensing business and ASIC business in USA. Prior to joining Faraday, Mr. Lee acted as Senior Director of Asia Sales at UMC.

Mr. Lee received his Bachelor and M.S. degree in physics from Tamkang University, Taiwan.
