    The intellectual property right of Faraday is respected. Intellectual property right is protected and related regulations is followed during the technology transferring.
  • Fair trade and advertising competition
    Faraday promises to trade fairly and not to use deceptive ads or illegal ways to participate in market competition. Faraday follows principles of fair business.
  • Anti-corruption, anti-bribes, and honest management
    The standard of integrity is expected in all business interactions. Any forms of corruption, extortion, and embezzlement are strictly prohibited. Faraday clearly establishes the standard of integrity. For business management or supervision, all employees should avoid taking advantages of their positions to directly or indirectly benefit themselves and to obtain illegal interests. Other fraud situations should also be avoided.

  • Management responsibilities
    Faraday has assigned the management representatives, who regularly examine the implementation status of management systems, to make sure the appropriateness and effectiveness.
  • Internal audit & management review
    Faraday has an auditor and a quality assurance unit which regularly execute internal audit and related management review. The examination are executed according to yearly audit plans approved by board of directors.
  • Correcting action
    Faraday's business operational processes are well planned and standardized & recorded in words. It is expected to do the thing right at first time and achieve the goal effectively following the planned flow path. When the abnormal condition which does not meet requirements or expectation occurs, the containment will be taken to prevent further adverse effects;  the abnormal conditions should be corrected; the cause of the abnormal conditions should be figured out and removed. Any similar situation should be prevented in future.

    To effectively manage suppliers for Faraday's long-term development, the related standards have been drawn up to make sure good quality & reasonable cost of supplies, proper delivery times, and satisfactory service.

Faraday complies with the related laws & international standards and promises to protect labor rights, such as gender equality, right to work, and prohibition of discrimination.

  • Child Labor
    Faraday forbids hiring child labor (Under the age of 15 or at the phase of compulsory education).
  • Forced Labor
    Faraday forbids forced labor or any coercive measures, which include corporal punishment, mentally/physically abuse or enforcement, threat/verbal abuse, salary deduction/ID cards seizure, and illegal forced labor. In addition, forced/bonded/indentured labor or involuntary prison labor is not allowed. All workers must be voluntary, and the employees is free to leave upon reasonable notice.
  • Health and Safety
    Faraday offers a safe and healthy work environment to enhance productand service quality, boost employees' morale, and reduce risk factors to prevent employees from occupational injuries, complying with the requirements of local related Labor Safety & Health Laws and international CSR regulations.  Faraday regularly holds  health examination to ensure employees' health and safety.
  • Freedom of association and right to collective bargaining
    Employees can freely join employees' councils, associate, and labor unions, and elect and run for representatives. Faraday regularly holds the labor-management conference and the employee forum, which offer employees and the management the direct communication channels. Employees shall be able to communicate openly with management regarding working conditions without fear of reprisal, intimidation, or harassment.
  • Discrimination
    Faraday promises that employees would not be harassed and illegal discriminated. When it involves recruitment, salary, training opportunities, promotion, dismissal, or retirement, Faraday will not discriminate against someone (or treat them unfairly) because of race, nationality, social origin, caste, background, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, family responsibility, marital status, union membership, political tendency, age, and other factors. Besides the medical check-up that is for making sure if the employees suit to the positions or being requested by laws, Faraday will not force employees to have medical check-up which contains discriminatory.
  • Punishment measurement
    Faraday forbids violence toward employees, which includes sexual harassment, obscene language or behavior, corporal punishment, mentally or physically threat, verbal abuse, and related threat.
  • Working hours and remuneration
    Faraday assures that working hours (including working hours, overtime hours, break time, and holidays) and payment policy (the minimum wage and legally mandated benefits) conforms to labor laws and meet the minimum standard. Overtime hours comply with labor laws; employees have reasonable break time and overtime pay. Employees will be notified the change of wage payment through the webpage of the unit of payment and personal electrical pay envelope.

  • Working environment safety
    Faraday distinguishes, assesses, and controls the hazards in the workplaces where employees are exposed to (e.g., electrical equipment & other energy sources, fire, vehicles, slips, trips, and fall hazards). Faraday also controls hazards through proper design, engineering, and administrative controls, preventative maintenance, and safe work procedures. If hazards cannot be adequately controlled by the above means, employees will be provided appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Emergency preparedness and response
    When encountering with emergency situations or events, Faraday will immediately implement emergency plans and response procedures, including emergency reporting, employee notification, escape plan, employee training & drills, appropriate fire detection and fire-fighting equipment, adequate exit facilities, and recovery plans to minimize damage.
  • Environmental hygiene
    Faraday provides clean restrooms & canteen and offers clean drinking water, food, and storage facilities.

  • Pollution prevention
    Faraday has no industrial production, and therefore there is no industrial wastewater, industrial waste gases, toxic gases, and chemical products. Faraday rejects any form of waste, including water and energy resources. Faraday irregularly introduces the policy of saving power to employees and continuously improve the operation flow of maintenance, material substitution, conservation, recycling, and re-using materials.
  • Hazardous materials
    Faraday has set up the standard of products and wrapping materials, which complies with regulations, to protect the global environment and reduce impacts to the ecosystem.
  • Waste handling
    Faraday handles the waste from sanitation facilities or business operations according to laws. Faraday also regularly declares the information to Industrial Waste Report and Management System.

Faraday Technology conflict-free minerals statement is compliance with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas. Supporting humanitarian and ethical social principles, Faraday Technology asks the suppliers to source minerals from facilities or smelters that have received a “conflict-free” designation by a recognized industry group (such as RBA and RMI), to ensure the Tantalum (Ta), Tin (Sn), Tungsten (W), Gold (Au) used in our products are conflict-free.

Note: The term “conflict-free” minerals means minerals that are derived from smelters (or other relevant sources) that have been validated by the RBA and Gesso RMI (or an equivalent entity); or minerals that have been deemed as “DRC conflict free” under a country of origin reasonable inquiry determination and due diligence framework.
